There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes at Sedona Aromatherapie in recent months! Although this has been a continual work-in-progress for the past couple of years, and it continues to be, we will be re-branding and re-launching in early 2018! The same quality courses and services will still be offered but, as we move into this new phase of our journey, we will be literally branching out into other projects, too! And, to kick it all off, we have just launched a Facebook community group for you to keep up-to-date on this new venture – and more!
The New Name and Garden Extension of Sedona Aromatics
If you have been following my Instagram account for the past eighteen months, you will know that the garden is its main feature. I developed the garden for personal reasons but then it began to morph into the “business garden” as I began to share more aromatic treasures and experiments in the garden. The garden is a place to grow and learn, so it is a great interactive teaching tool if you have the skills, and patience, to manage it!
Last month, my most loyal and faithful companion, George, died at just 8 years old. The garden was doggy heaven to him and so it was only fitting to rename it to Georgie’s Garden. George loved to help everyone and anything, and the garden healed us both as we went about our day-to-day business; so that legacy is now being passed down.
As more aromatic plants and flowers have been incorporated into business activities, beyond that of which is usually understood by the term aromatherapy, it made sense to tweak the name of the school and business to aromatics to reflect this concept.
Sedona Aromatics On-Site Workshops and Retreats
Although Sedona Aromatherapie has traditionally been a home study course program, and it will continue to be so, some things can only be experienced in person. So, I will be adding a few unique workshops and retreats to the program which will require you to visit us in person! These workshops will go beyond the traditional school workshops that you usually find – and they will have very limited spaces (more like one-on-one mentoring) so make sure to keep up-to-date by subscribing to the newsletter.
Community Through the Sedona Aromatics Facebook Group
We are also having a brand new state-of-the art (at least to us!) website developed which should be ready to launch in early 2018. The emphasis on the website will be the aromatic garden element and so it only made sense to start building community around that concept. Our brand new Facebook Group went live on Monday August 7, 2017. It is a place to learn about aromatics in the garden, network with like-minded souls, and be the first to know about our new website launch – along with exclusive giveaways and prizes at our launch party.
So, don’t miss out! We would love to have you visit us! See you there!
